We often hear people talk about 'dangling carrots'. This derives from the effective but somewhat cruel practice years ago of dangling a carrot in front of a horse or donkey pulling a carriage. Somewhere in your world, the equivalent of a 'carrot' is being dangled in front of you. In the same way horses or donkeys were unable to reach it, what's tantalizing you seems very much out reach. Trust that this frustrating process is temporary. Soon, you will attain what seems unattainable.
