A great way to play up the jewel-toned ensemble is to opt for matching metallic eyeliner, like Leona Lewis did at the UK premiere of "Salt". To keep it chic yet sophisticated without the disco flashback, just rim either the upper or lower lids, not both.

1. Dust the entire lid with a neutral shadow.
2. Sweep upper lid and inner corner of the eye with a pale ivory shadow to open up your peepers.
