Cleaning Your Makeup Brushes

How often should I clean my makeup brushes? And what's the best way to clean them? Thanks!
At least once a week for concealer and foundation brushes, advises makeup artist Bobbi Brown. Because these brushes are used on your face, the cleaner you keep them. the better. For brushes you use around the eyes, clean them at least once a fortnight, while other brushes such as the blush brush can be washed once a month.
Clean your makeup brushes with water and either a mild soap or brush cleanser. Wet the brush's bristles with lukewarm water, add a drop of cleanser to your palm and gently massage the bristles with your palm. Then rinse and squeeze out excess water with a clean, dry towel. Reshape the brush's bristles and lay the brush on a table top to let it air dry.
