Leighton Meester's panda eyes
Smoky eyes are supposed to look sultry, but when Leighton Meester arrived at the American Eagle Outfitters Times Square Flagship store grand opening party, her sooty-cum-gilded eye makeup was more halloween than sexy.
Lesson learned: Smoky or bronze eyes? Take one pick only, please! When applying shadow, make sure to blend thoroughly and rim the lower lash lines with just a thin sweep of color using a liner brush -- any thicker and you'll end up with racoon eyes.
