The weight loss products you see on the shelves usually fall into either of the 2 categories: meal replacements and weight loss supplements. What are the differences? And which is more effective for you? Find out here.
What Are Weight Loss Meal Replacements?
Meal replacements aimed to aid weight loss come in food (food bars) and beverage (liquid or powder mixtures) forms, mostly in convenient mix-and-drink or ready-to-drink formulas.
These are marketed as having reduced amounts of fat and sugar for lower caloric content, and contain balanced nutrition, and are meant to replace one or two meals.
