It is done using a local anesthesia with light sedation, unless you have other procedures done at the same time. Usually chin liposuction would take 45 minutes to an hour at most to finish. And it uses a smaller cannula than the ones usually used in a typical liposuction procedure; it minimizes scarring, swelling and bruising.
