hi everyone,
as i have just updated some taxi queries in another thread (bangkok), i thought i may update this one too.
pls correct me if i am wrong though, in wanting to cut cost, as i always do the following when hailing a cab from the k.l. airport to hotel.
i usually go to two counters (to get best of 2 quotes) in the airport, and ask for the price for a normal cab to my hotel (i never talk to any tout or let them bring me to any counter, cos they will take a cut from any deal made). usually, it ranges from rm90-70. is that considered expensive?
the problem of this tout problem is i think the msian authority only allow cab drivers to send passengers to the airport but forbides them to drive any passenger out from the airport. this baffles me but i guess the govt wants to protect the limousine industry (in the airport). so this drives up the price of cab fare from the airport and the "tout" industry.
holding a durian for a minute and it would seem like for an hour. sitting with a pretty gal for an hour and it would seem like for a minute. well, thaz relativity, i guess....hohoho
