Aiyoyo, how can he use the term 'virgin' hair when both of you already did something to your hair before? I read in a magazine that the term 'virgin' hair is for people with hair that has never ever gone thru dyes, perms, rebonding, etc. How much does super cuts charge? are they expensive? I always go to kimage and ask for graduate students. Professionals charge more and they may not necessary do a better job than graduate students. Kimage also have basic students (before graduate) and it so much cheaper, but have to wait longer time cos they are always asking their teacher. I remember paying around $60 (basic student) for both japanese perm and color. But I sat there for 5 hours lah.

I had my hair done by Michael the other time and I'm very satisfied with the results. From what I observed, he seemed to be pretty popular there and seemed to be attending to the most number of customers when I was there. Anyway, I would still go back to him cos I personally like his hairstyling skills.

I tried Super Cut(first time visit) in Compass Point before..... I was attended by a guy called Kennerth.... I noticed one thing about Kennerth similar to Michael....... As I only intended to trim my hair........and i told Kennerth i wanna trim but i still havent decide how i want my hair to be trimmed...... then hopefully can ask the hairstylist for some opinions...... then without advising what kind of trim is suitable for my face.........kennerth immediately recommanded me to do perming.......either straight perm or curled perm.... then i was like "huh" i dint bring much money................... then kennerth quickly took out his calculator...... and quickly calculate everything and even asked me how much money i brought along..... then i anything one cus i needed a new look..... since i dint bring enough $$$...... he said that i can return the rest in another day......... first time i heard salon allow customer to return the rest of the money another day one...... then he also advised me to do curl perm......... then i insisted on straight perm..... easier to maintain mah...... okay lah the final result of his work ......is pretty satisfying....then he gave me a nice layering... then i was the last customer of the day as i was about to leave supercut i saw supercut's boss........... he look like he's very dao..... old man like in his forties....

luckily it wasnt michael who attended to me... ..... thanks Kaylin for warning us!.....

I love freedom XOXO lufie

charis, from the way u said it, that michael really doesnt seem 2b this sort of person. but don't tell me he has a split personality? i juz dunno whether its true or not. ppl, u juz judge 4 yourself. for ppl like charis, i'm glad you didnt experience anything bad but for lufie, i'm quite shocked to hear this kind of thing. if u personally had a bad experience i suggest u better not go there. no one has the liberty to make us angry or do something we don't wanna do. from the email, michael definitely sounds like a terror to me.

Obviously we can't know for sure if that forwarded email is really true, all kinds of rubbish are passed via email these days.

Since I don't have a bad experience, I will continue to be serviced by him. But those of you who don't want to take the risk, you have absolute reason to use another stylist. If not for the fact that I have actually met this guy, I would probably avoid Supercuts too.
