I've been with my guy for a year plus. This was his first relationship as he has always been a shy guy in the past. He was constantly improving himself, which seems to be quite great, but the problem is that he's too self conscious and is always thinking that he is not good enough for me. I'm always assuring him that he has done his best and i don't mind the imperfect side of him but it always fall onto deaf ears. I'm afraid that he's giving himself stress and pressure by committing into this relationship. What should i do to keep this relationship?

Well, good news is, u mean e world to him. Bad news is, yes, he is thinking too much.
Maybe next time he is unsure, do sth funny to lighten e mood up, show him u hv ur little flaws also n rem to boost him ego by praising him once in a while. Dun let his insecurities et in e way of ur rel. Let him knw hw u feel n to make things work he has to relax himself a bit also. I mean, u fell in love of who u both r so why start to fret nw right. Everyone has theor own differences. Its how u guys blend in wi each other without having to change who u r dat both of u will be happy.

Nope, juz once in a while. Like one day when u knw he tried to dress up u can look in his eyes n say sth like, "u look so good today" n mean it.
it shld nt be too often n anytime is fine but most importantly, look as if u mean it.

too much praise isn't good..
will make a person's head swollen..
although he feel that he isn't good..
but just assure him and say he already is the man of your dreams.
thus this way, u didn't say he's perfect thus have rooms for improvement in future plus he knows he already is good in your eyes..
appreciate what he does what you.
even if its bad..just say good..like good try and can be better that sort of phases.

Be encouraging but not over enthusiastic in praising him. Sometimes dun even have to be in words.
Whenever my bf is with me, i like to cuddle him to show dat i enjoy his company
