With immediate effect, no warning will be given except via updating yourself with this thread on the list of users listed in the list below.
Repeated offense will result in suspension/banning of user.
1st time = Warning (Updates available via this thread)
2nd time = User suspension/banning (depending on seriousness)

As for the above lengthy post, just read the important case studies for examples, ignore the list of users under warning, suspended, black-listed users.
SLS will try to improve and upgrade accordingly within our best of abilities.
Your contributions and input are valuable in help in shaping SLS a much friendlier place for users to share and exchange information.

it depends on the source of the product or service..
if the product origins comes from any direct selling companies >> No
if the service is recommending your immediate friend/faking to be recommending others but it is yourself >> No.

dat basically sums it up!
as long as the mods/admin suspect a recommendation has hidden agenda (ie. benefits the poster in same way), we reserve the right to remove the contents.
besides the obvious sources pointed out by fallen, some other red flags we look out for are ip, persistency, history (of poster, of site), language...too many to mention really.
yes sometimes an innocent post/thread may be deleted but imo this con has to be endured for the overall better health of forum.

Actions which results in account/user termination are as follows:
1. Advertising content/post/url (hyper links to external websites)
2. Indications & signs of sales pitching/selling contents.
3. Suspicious contents/post/thread for personal/commercial/unintended gains in any other way possible.
4. Disrupting/Challenging SLS Guidelines, Rules and Regulations
5. Multiple user registration in identical IP address
6. Advertising of direct selling a.k.a multi-level-marketing products and services.
7. Solicitation for public/potential clients within SLS forums (email inclusive) for personal/commercial purposes
8. Promoting non SLS affiliated merchants/advertisers of their advertisements, products, services inclusive of any other campaigns.
9. Attempting to contribute misleading information with intention of generating interest in a product/service/of any nature, with no creditable reference of information.
10. Mass Advertising of personal/commercial URLs, spamming of forums.
11. Faking to be a regular user, only revealing real hidden agenda after couple of months with edited thread & posts of their personal/commercial business.
12. Seeking users opinions via commercial website survey services for external businesses with money benefits.
13. Failure to observe SLS Rules & Guidelines despite prior warning either via private message warning or Admin/Moderator edited threads/posts. (Depending on nature of the editing)
Disciplinary Actions Permanent - Light Sentences
I >> Removal of privilege of user's Signature feature
II >> Post Deletion/ Minor Edit of Advertising Content
Disciplinary Actions Permanent - Heavy Sentences
Termination Types (Permanent):
I >> Account Suspension
II >> IP Address Black-listing
