i've taken yoga for a few months at a RC nearby. it is really quite cheap. with passion card, its only 5 bucks per 12 sessions if i didnt remember wrongly..very worth it. but it would be an outdoor session. generally, during that period of doing yoga, i did feel more healthy haha and i was slimmer then..haha

I just read a very astonishing article about yoga,so according to research from cambridge university, they found out that ppl who practise yoga are more likely to have mental illness namely dementia. then i read on, the article talks abt how many ppl who do yoga find it relaxing and more at peace with themselves. though it is gd for relieving lower back pain, but it has bad effects on mental health. it is also reported that ppl feel less stressful when they practise yoga, but much more stresser if they missed one yoga session..
for me, i do practise yoga for sometime back but i have since stopped. and i think it is benefical for health. the only danger is not to be too obsessive with it then it should be fine.
just to share!:)

Yoga is good for relaxation purpose. Many RCs have yoga classes and good instructors. Avoid Yishun areas RC because there is this instructor who talks non-stop and do very less of the yoga exercises. The one at Bukit Gombak RC is good.
