Where would you go for beautiful beaches??
I really hate beaches which are overcrowded with people. Unfortunately in sg, all we have are beaches packed to the brim. ): Recently I've been to Kuantan, malaysia, and we found several beaches completely devoid of people! Simply beautiful, the horizon had no ships at all, and the sea was crystal blue and was beautiful. Wow... wish I could go back there again. Anyway, back to the question.. any other places for beautiful beaches?? (with really soft sand, etc..)

Maldives... Boracay... Bali? Bintan?... Hmm... Langkawi etc etc

I hope I am not too late to reply to this thread. 
Anyway, since you mentioned you don't want beaches with too many people, try this. Google "Caramoan Islands" and see for yourself what this humble beach from the Philippines has to offer. As to the softness of the sand, I can guarantee you it's powdery soft, especially Gota Beach (part of the Caramoan islands).

They always show beaches for tour packages. If the beaches are really secluded, I recommend Bali. Its near and beautiful too:))

Boracay!!! It is so far my favorite beach destination. White sandy beaches, clear blue sea and sky. You can get cheap good seafood dinner too. I stayed at Discovery Shores which is a short walk to the station mall. Love that resort. I can't wait to go back... but not after I try other beautiful beaches that I haven't been to!
