Feeling hungry is a feeling-hunger. Fill your tummy up with your satiable food and the feeling is fulfilled.
Cold is a feeling. Wrap yourself up with layers of warm clothing and the feeling is gratified.
Therefore if love is a feeling than it can be satistied by what expectations each and everyone might have set. Once the feeling is satisfied and gratified. What is more? That's why love cannot have that "feeling", as feelings do come and go as weitten above.
Love is emotion, intelligent, active, involved, communicate and sharing good and bad. Love is in motion..not feel

Is there love to begin with?
Simplest things in life are often neglected and forgotten, until the day you started counting, you realised how much you missed.. and I miss you badly.

I think I have shared this quote from my college professor once already, but nonetheless, for those who may not have read it,

"Love is a feeling you feel when you feel you are feeling a feeling you have never felt before."

I cannot help but agree.

I like that definition of love. Hoping to find out for myself what really is love too. Totally confused.

Believe it or not, the Bible (yes Bible) defines love in many many ways. One of the most common one, which we hear a lot in wedding ceremonies is "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud." 1 Corinthians 13:4. It is something so simple yet profound. Not many of us can truly say that we treat our love ones according to those simple actions everyday, all day long, can we? :-) For more articles on love, dating, and relationships, visit us at =Domain Removed=

The bible quote is infinite. Simplicity of daily practise of his word "love" is 1.unconditional-hard to find;
                     2.forgive-can't forget;
                     3.give till it hurts-don't see many, limited;
                     4.good & bad together-not often=divorces.
Seen too many, live through them all and helping those around me put these simple principles into real practice.
Today's world are very much more complex in "love". Interpretations to suit each & everyone's expectations & mindset are 'a penny a dozen!' Arguments to each his own understanding and 'yards-sticks' are innumerable. What is yours?

To ask what is love, one assumes it exist. But if it exist, then why are they so many versions of it? And it seems that nobody know what is it. So, does love exist, hence my statement.

wah i kinda like this philosophical thread about love.

love does exist! and there are many types of love (like what i've learnt in Romeo and Juliet as well..hhaahaha)

maybe love is too complex and different people have different meanings and expections for it. :)
