sagging butt is a common sign among majority of the office staffs (applies to both ladies and gentlemen) excluding those fit individuals who regularly exercise or visit the gym.

the theory is simple >> since our body is made of of 70% water, i'll use water in different states as an example.

water in liquid form takes up any shape (in this case it's the blood that's moving)

water in solid form takes up only the shape of the host >> reference: ice

so since butt is neither made up of blood or solid, it is therefore semi-soluble state like jelly (which are fats technically) above our muscles protecting the bones.

sagging butt = lazybones symptom = fats that didn't exercise, just jelly hardening after it has cooled down (in this case over long period)

so the cheapest, zero cost of getting perky butt = exercise, but choose the right exercise that will strengthen the selected areas only instead of the whole leg.

it's a straight forward, simple exercise, but i personally do not think the position looks nice at all.

position yourself like a dog, on all fours, either on bed, cushion or mat, whatever soft to protect your knees.

take turns to raise each side of your leg up to form a straight line with your spine than put the leg back down, do so for 10-20 repetitions, before chancing to your next leg.

starters might experience difficulty in balancing, so both your hands act as stabilizer to maintain that position. than switch.

you will feel your leg shaking, getting heavier with ascending repetition, continue with just 3-5 more when your muscle starts to ache.

don't do anything more than that to avoid muscle or internal injury.

make sure both your neck & back (spine) are straight >> so individuals new to this exercise might require a big mirror to correct your posture.

this also helps in strengthening your neck & spine muscles as you work your butt or other relevant muscles

Disclaimer: This is based on what i tried out myself and modified the exercise accordingly to suit the purpose of working out certain muscles.

Kindly consult professionals for health related concerns if you're concern about worsening and substantiating any injury while exercising.

It will not show immediate results. Consistency is required to observe the gradual chance.

This exercise might help make a clearer line between the butt and the thighs.

Alternative Exercise:
For people without mirror, lie flat down on a cushion, bed/exercise mat etc.

Raise your leg up from flat to 90 degrees (considered 1 repetition) Do so for 10-20 times >> this is the easier type for people with back issues.

Breathing pace is important to avoid injury. (identical to what's taught in yoga/pilates/general exercise motion)

Recommendation: do a combination sets of different exercise and stretching before and after as warm-up and cool down essential

Exercise really good. I got some friends who are the lazy type. They bought a lifting up lingerie to wear as they need to sit for long hrs. Within 3 mths, can see their flat buttocks become more shapy.

Personally, I think swimming is a good form of exercise to tone our body. :)
