I think he may want to be more than just friends. It depends on the length of call. If the time stretches from 1 hr to 2 hrs, It's a hint that he will like to hear from you more. Furthermore, the topic of conversation like getting to know you better, etc. Good luck to you!

Obviously he finds good conversation in you; he likes talking to you. If he always asks things about you, I'd say he may be genuinely interested in you. If for friendship or anything more than that, I think you could guess it by the way your conversation goes. If you always talk about matters of the heart, maybe he is trying to give you hints on what he feels/thinks about you.

Is there any difference between chatting online and chatting on the phone? If a guy is just contented to chat with you online, does it mean that he is not as interested as someone who want to hear your voice over the phone?

well, in my opinion, if a guy is just contented with chatting online and doesnt want to chat on the phone, it would signal a lack of interest. but then again, if u guys meet up quite often already then it is not. there are also cases where the guy is just too tired after a day's work and just doesnt want to speak anymore, instead he prefers online chatting where he doesnt have to give "instant" and "correct" replies for the whole conversation...

haha well said loveyou1hr.. i agree with u! online chatting is more relaxing without the need for "instant" answers..

the topics between chatting online and on the phone can also differ slightly at times. when u are online u can easily paste a link and share a video, page, event, pics with the guy and talk about it. that would be a way of sharing your interests too.
