Black is a color of mourning and sadness, save it for a funeral. But now it seems that the black dress have to look as fashional and elegant trend! Why? WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT BLACK WEDDING DRESSES?

black wedding dresses can be worn for dinner events. even then, normally the bride will have a few outfits to change into. so it won't be a totally black dressing kinda wedding.

Even if it is a black evening wedding dress, there will be embroideries and designs with accessories to higlight and and bring out the elegance of the dress.

i think the point initially was that having all-black garbs seem to be a no-no for an occasion like wedding. as 'Marchegreen' wrote: accessorize would take the gloom and doom out of having an all-black dressed on a wedding occasion. culture and custom frown at black dressing as funereal.
well, today's perceptions think that it is all very formal instead. of course, if superstition is not applied; but generally 21st century concept of uniqueness is to go against the grain of 'way-back-then-expectations'.

It could be useful if used as a combination of other colors. i like black but seems awkward if we relate it with weddings.

I like black color because it can used as a combination of other color wearing a black dress on your wedding day will cause huge controversy but it's sure to put your individual stamp on what would otherwise be yet another traditional, unsurprising day.javascript:AddSmileyIcon('')

Black Beauty- this phrase was once used very often. All black garments could be enhanced with glittering gold/silver sequins and accessories to put your branded mark as being the 1st. to initiate. no harm being different. I like the idea totally/
