Got any recommendation whereby there's suitable place for discussion?
Air-con (optional)
Wi-Fi (optional)
Minimal Disruption (preferred)
Allows small discussions
Any place that any one of you here can recommend?

I think libraries have those conference rooms where u can book for a few hrs or so..not sure if its free or not..can ask though..u can try those bigger libraries like woodlands regional library. think its located at the lvl 2 or 3. hope this helps:)

so there's conference rooms?
i thought it's just another big library only..
u have any experience of booking any rooms for discussions before?
it need not be limited to libraries..

If you don't mind, airy open space outside National Muesum, area along SMU also a nice place for discussion.
I also come across Conference Room at National Library at Bishan branch.

yups there are conference rooms in the library specially designed for discussions...other than libraries, maybe u can try community centres..just a suggestion since i've nvr really book such rms before..

the place that i need for discussion is to be used for laptop..
thanks for the National Museum recommendation, i think Laptop will not be able to use in open air areas.
regarding the conference room in Bishan NLB, so have you used it before?

i've tried a community center..it was okay..minimal noise.but it was at my old home area before we moved many years ago..
Novena area..now at CCK..so not sure about the CCs over here..since it's not convenient for me to walk there..

i've asked a friend of mine and he said Starbucks maybe the place that I need..
One that have Air-con, minimal noise , bonus with multiple power points..btw, Starbucks do they have free Wi-Fi access?

Sorry, I never book conference room in Bishan NLB either. You can call up to check. In case of CC, it is opposite Bishan Bus Interchange (if Bishan is convenient for you). There's a Dôme at Bishan CC. It's quiet there during weekdays. Just google for the address. Anyway, all cafes will be crowded during peak periods, like lunch hours, evenings and weekends. Get an approximate time for discussions so as to avoid crowds and for quiet discussion la huh.
