I'm really desperate for remedies or products that can cure or improve my back acne. i know mine is due to genes. But surely there's some ways to lessen the "impact" I'm having now.
Been to skin centre b4, have oral medi, but once stop it comes back again. Now I can't wear any bare back clothings... Help!!!

Try using a gentle body scrub for a start. You can also try applying a deep cleansing mask on your back to clear the toxins. Drinking lots of water helps too. If your condition is not very bad, try using a loofa or a sponge to scrub your back when showering. During the day, you can also apply prickly heat (talcum) powder to "dry" your back. Try not to wear tops that are very tight for the time being. Wear cotton tops to help absorb perspiration & see if this work for you.
There is nothing right or wrong. Only thinking makes it so.

It so happens that both of my best friends have the same problem. One of them told me that she does not use shower foam on her back, instead, she uses her very mild facial cleanser to wash her back. She said it helps.

National skin centre also doesn't work for her. However, her cosmetic surgeon (Martin Huang) suggested an oral medication (cannot remember the name) that he was sure will clear her back for gd... will let u know when she tries it...

I used to have the same problem. Solution:
1) Use protex anti-bacterial shower foam
2) Get a tan (I swim a lot). The zits just disappear when they're exposed to the sun. I have no idea why, and I'll probably land up getting skin cancer, but hey, it works for me!

My back used to have really angry terrible acne. But now it's all gone. Can wear spaghetti-strap singlets, no problem.

Hi...

i think u shouldn't tan in the sun at all... cos what the sun actually does is to dry up the acne... but when ur skin heals the acne will be even worse as the skin will produce even more sebum in a bid to keep the skin moisturised.... i think u will have to treat your back like your face... with extreme care and gentleness...means no scrubbing

i suggest that u actually do a mask on your back... and apply toner and moisturiser to it... and use a body wash for your back that has salicylic acid.. i know how it feels... i used to have a problem too... until i started using toner to clean my back and front everytime after i bathe and i make sure i moisturise

u need any suggestions or help u can jus PM mi
