had dinner at this jap restaurant in ngee ann city called "Pepper Lunch", and it was not bad. I tried the "hamburger steak set meal"

the fun part you have to quickly turn your meat on the sizzling hot plate, as well as stir fry your vegetables to cook them.

price for hamburger steak is $9.80 (without set meal)
and $11.80 (set meal, consists of rice + choice of soup or drink).

they have other selections like pepper beef rice, salads, etc etc...

worth giving it a try!

i tried tis (also hamburger steak) for lunch today.. itz was generally a "refreshing" experience.. beef lovers would love it as the menu comprises mainly of beef sets.. however, i (and my group of health conscious colleagues) felt tat it was oily and expensive.. payment is only by cash or nets.. give 2 stars out of 5..

I agree that it is quite oily, (plus the margarine too).
There is a chicken set meal, but my colleague dun find it nice. But worth trying it once.
