east coast: Portobello, BFD and Mango Tree! Really breezy and full of ambience. Candle lights, live bands, country-side decor etc etc.

but i've never eaten there yet..

The rows of restaurants along the 'hidden' side of Holland Village have very unique furnishings. There's a (Mexican?) restaurant called Chilli Cha Cha, cute name!

Worth trying the restaurants there, if you're looking for some exotic surroundings to dine with your date.

Makes you feel like you're out of Singapore. In terms of ambience I can say they score 10/10.

I think PastA cAfe @ tAkA bAsement 1 has a great ambience! Though it's sort of in the middle of nowhere, but the country decor is very cosy! And for their service too!

Think there's a cafe or restaurant in Istana Park right? Looks real scenic!
