Have you found ur meaning in life? Do u have a purpose for living?
Can some of you share your views with me? Cause for me, I'm living life without much of a great purpose. or does living really require a purpose,a meaning? Yes,we all know we've got to be filial sons/daughters, work hard to contribute to society,enjoy life, pick up hobbies,earn lots of cash, go travel the whole world...etcetc and the list goes on. But...in the end, we all cant escape from death,right? Im really afraid of death..i might not be thinking/fearing abt it all the time, but it does freaks me out at times....it can be so sudden if death strikes...

if you don't know your purpose in life, than start exploring around..
go to any and every single seminar previews and see if they talk about..
perhaps that might help you find your direction in life..
start working, find out what you hate most, and identify what's exactly opposite of that, perhaps that will help you identify your purpose/meaning in your own life.

woo, finally someone replies! im afraid ppl think im an overly emo girl posting on forums haha. I kind of know what i want and what i hope to see out of life...but those goals or "destinations" seem very far fetched and hard to reach for...so its so easy to lose focus..am i talking logic? hahah. pardon me at this hr..

you will only see things from a different perspective when you really get to know the rich and successful..
than you know what is the real loneliness..being broke, friendless, and useless..and of no value to anybody else..that's when people lose their meaning of life.

Hmmm..., I think one will understand different perspective of life when get to know different types of people, irregardless rich or poor. :)

when you are still thinking..means you have yet to understand the difference in perspective..
the real understanding comes only when you know the reason why certain steps and decisions must be done to get results that each individual sets.
being rich and successful actually is nothing secret at all.
just pay the money and learn the secrets, like learning how to drive the car like that, it's that simple, than ask the trainer on why they want to help others get rich..
the same goes to finding the meaning/purpose of life..
when you help others from the heart, and has the calling to do so..
by than you may have found your purpose in life..regardless of how you want to help others.

if you still don't have a goal/purpose in your life, just adopt something positive first, than along the way, your purpose of life might take sprout from the somewhere, some place and at some time in future.
don't worry about it, just do what you think is right until you are proven wrong than adopt the next new best practice to move forward, whichever is in the best interest for your situation.

Great!!! Someone out there has the exact sentiment as I do. Believe you me; so tired of doing or trying to find something/someone to find a reason to be in existence. My little get-away now is computer games. The more challenging the more glued I am to the computer.
I have travelled, 'casinoing', met tens of thousands of people from all around the world. Decidedly to settle in Singpaore for her smallness and convenieces.
Well, the old feelings of 'ants-in-my-pants' started again. Started going through the list of 'wanna-do'. Done them all. Thot I'd settle down... NNNAAWWHHH.....too scary. The unpredictability of human nature. So Casinoes......too much losses...clubbing...2-legged watchamacallit..NO..NO; better with the 4-legged ones...at least they don't bitch, complaint, get abusive, aggressive and kinda mutual temperament when they sense your mood w/o any demands or argument. So I read, write, blog, facebook. shopping-hated it most, drinking binges, walks in the parks, window shops, more learnings, take a breather....and the processes repeats. DIRECTIONS?

I used to be pessimistic too. But i think i have learnt to let go a little although the feeling keeps coming back, esp when school is hectic and my expectations of myself are getting higher. I think this is part of life.
I fear death too, i think it's because we dunno what will happn to us after that. Try not to think too much ba.
Start off with a goal, something that can be achieved. Pick up a new sport or a new hobby. Start slow. It will help =)
