Hello,
I will be going to Ho Chi Minh next month. Would like to check if there is any good recommendation for tailor and lacquerware shop and massage. Heard about the Ben Than Market but need to bargain real hard. Thanks.

ho chi minh is a boring place!!!
didnt enjoy my trip. maybe i expected too much?
but cu chi tunnel was very fun! it's like fighting the vietnam war.
local day tour is dirt cheap. only US$5.
other than that, nothing to buy there.

There are many taxis company in Vietnam. And there is also many private one. Hard to differential them at first but i learn that those with very nice hotline number belong to company taxis. Such as "111111", "181818", and those that have a out of sequence number like 181888 or 118828 belong to private owner. The different is that private one will cheat you or even rob you. In our recent company trip, my colleagues was rob very near to the hotel taking one of this private taxis.

I'll be going tmr! So excited. lolx.. Hopefully it'll be a great place to be in.
I heard to be beware of private cabs! They fleece you so much you might feel robbed! Always be firm to meter rates.
