to october : hehe we both online at e same time! (bear w me, i type very slow.)
hmmm...if u r referring to human baby, then never ever. since i was a kid, i've always "hated" babies. something about them repels me. phobia only gotten stronger as i grew older. among other practical factors, my hubby was accepted cos he ok w no kids. his reason is more financial. people tell me when i give birth n hold e baby in my arms, my maternal instincts will kick in naturally, love flows automatically. i doubt dat! my famous "i give birth to baby, bring home, kept forgetting about its existence, accidentally stumbled into almost dead baby, dont wanna go jail so revived it, forgot about it again n finally stumbled into it again n tis time too late cos baby has rigor mortied! oh dear i'm going to jail. i commited murder, capital punishment......i woke up." confirms my belief.
guess i am a bad singaporean according to a certain mp.

hrm... well, everyone get to choice wat they want in life... life is just but few tens years... so gotta live it the way u like it... not the way the govt want it...
i have 2 kids and i love them... maybe bcos i always love kids... not bcos i want the miserable baby bonus...
and i agree that if u dun like kids, dun have kids... why bring them to this world and not shower them love ? i hate to see kids being abused (whether accidental anot)... its sad...

to october : wat i cook? everyday different so how to answer? eg. yday i cooked large pot of braised beef n white carrot stew, fried beansprout n white rice. so 2day i intend to combine e leftover saucy beef w green beans n egg n make fried rice. today hubby got mba lesson so only come back n eat at 1030pm. i can start cookin at 930pm. hmmmm...mus remember to watch OC on tv.
actually u r rite, cook for 2 very boring. i relish e moments when i hav party n do more elaborate cookin. some "dont mind average standard food n wanna save on catering money" friends ask me cater. i luv cookin but standard not there. a few dishes quite good but some super cannot make it! hehe.

your family lucky lor. our standard meal is one veggie, one meat/fish n white rice. fruits after. after dat, i mus hav one smoke n kopi. i'm not into desserts n no know how to make. i'll never b true chef cos i only cook stuff i personally like to eat n to my tastebuds only. for after dinner snack, we munch on chocolates, chips or sometimes ice cream.
i also like to cook one dish meals. like pasta, bee hoon soup, roast chicken w potatoes, curry w bread.
haha in future we can exchange recipes n tips. most of my married friends eat out cos of their busy schedules.

to dollfin : hello fellow oprah show luver, not sure but think also shown at 9am weekdays, best to check e scv guide "telescope" - i no hav. noticed one irritating trend though, e episodes like jumbled up, sometimes current (like oprah's birthday bash), sometimes very backdated n repetitive. its was frm watchin oprah dat i already knew trista chose ryan b4 'e bachelorette' was shown here. esp enjoy e episodes on makeovers, home deco, cookin, oprah's fav stuff (sometimes e audience goes back w thousand dollars worth of gifts!)...
oh by e way, so am i right dat most members here r younger than me (30)?
