I have been using this mineral loose powder foundation since its launch and I love it! It is very suitable for sensitive skin and doesn't clog pores at all. After application my face has a natural glow and doesn't feel like I'm wearing makeup, very light! The only thing is that coverage is very sheer. But I don't really put a lot of makeup unless I have special occasion.

can BB cream act as a foundation base? because i would love to buy body shop's mineral foundation powder if BB cream dont have the same function. heard that mineral make up is better than those normal make up. like more face-friendly

if one is reacting adversely to ingredients commonly found in conventional makeup, then yes likely mineral makeup is the answer to less breakouts, better skin etc. the theory is dat the lesser ingredients and their more natural and inert nature = less chance of negative reactions. a very basic mmu foundation can be made with just mica(aka sericite), zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, iron oxides.
however, everyone's skin is different and one can react to anything! there are people like me who loves mmu but there are some people who actually find mmu more irritating.
if you want to use mmu becos of the more natural factor, do note dat some "mineral" makeup cannot be considered true natural type makeup. look at the ingredient list carefully. many makeup brands are jumping on the mmu bandwagon and adding some mmu/natural ingredients to their formula (but never remove the synthetics/chemicals/dyes etc) and calling it "mineral" makeup.
ok back to bodyshop's mineral foundation so wont be OT lol...
looking at the ingredient list (from googling, i dun own it), ok this one seems to be fine, is mmu indeed.

I am using BB cream then liquid foundation and finally loose powder. It works for me so far. Light and natural feel.
