My favourite airport is the one that I will never miss my flights...and are easy to navigate with clear signs especially with connecting flights. It's fun at LAX for connecting flights, do that often and you can slim down from all the running, collecting luggage bags, check-in and queuing and running to the gate...
Interestingly, I have no major issues with the Manila airport though it was voted the worst airport in 2011(?). Only that the departing traveller should remember not to use up all their pesos as there is a counter to collect some pre-departure tax after check-in.
