I think in worst case candy/choc leak out still have its own packaging, plus still got box/bubble wrap etc protecting, so shouldn't tio other boxes.. But I dunno whether feasible or not, just my two cents :)
I believe vpost does ship boxes back to sg first even before payment made. So storage time in sg is longer in actual.
Want to join the candy spree but I can't eat sugary stuffs now :(
Oh I'm quite happy about the vpost matching thing! Apparently both the discount and the self matching was up on the 28th night, I saw but too busy that time to post in SLS anyway you girls sure will find out soon also mah.

olaf yes, i always tio something when spreeing but so far, all resolved in my favour.
AE, hope can resolve favourably too.
such a sweet story for US chocolates!
yes, other sharers, let me know your opinions please? I'm very keen to order the chocolates (craving + not avail in sg) but understand if you all might have reservations
shiokz, agree that chances of tio other boxes is low, but since i cannot guarantee it 100% won't happen, i do understand if the other sharers feel uncomfortable putting their stuff at potential risk
curious, why can't you eat sugary stuff now?

Q5. Other than reduced rates, are there other changes?
A. There is a change to how Customs GST is computed.
Customs GST of 7% is applicable for each individual item with a VS shipment number imported into
Singapore, where the CIF (Cost, Insurance and Freight) exceeds S$400. Please click here for an
example of the Customs GST computation for vPOSTUSA service.
Separate purchases from the same merchant will not be counted towards the $400 amount limit which
attracts GST, based on each individual order.
hey how do u gals interpret the bold bits? hmmm...hope afterall for ping's ON?

HINT HINT can someone help call vpost tomo n confirm dat under new rule, seperate orders from same merchant are counted seperately when it comes to CIF?
and also dat the 14days free holding starts counting from "after processed" (ie. ready for payment) or god forbid, starts from the day package received at vpost - cos the wordings in T&C unclear and now under the self match link, vpost does state clearly which day package was received.

Okie I'm here & really pissed off with the sudden change in T&Cs!!!
& it has been ages since I last used vpost so I specially chalked up extra items to really max the cart out & now it puts me @ risk of incurring GST instead!
Purple ~ can you kindly update when you call vpost tmr? I'm on leave as bf has medical appt so I can only pray for the best & check back tmr for updates.
F21 usually ships compactly but this round I really try to max the cart hard so I've >20 items although about 7 pcs are accessories but I'm very sure I won't kena the standard small box lor. Grrrrr....
& it's strange that they split separate orders from same merchant.... but if that's true (that's how I interpret also) then ping will be 1 happie gal. haha
noangel ~ if you're sure that the chocs are protected by outer plastic etc I'm fine. Otherwise to be honest I'm a little hesitant coz F21 items don't come in indiv. packaging & the past few times my orders came with damaged box so there're 'holes'.
