which laptop?

i need to get a new laptop but can't decide to get macbook air, fujitsu lifebook (again!!!) or sony vaio or toshiba protege...

it has to be light and preferably look nice (it doesn't have to be pink!!)

any suggestions and feedback from mac converts?

Eh before you get Air, think about your usage. You will notice that it lacks alot of ports (which explains the air-ness). Personally super inconvenient!

yalor, that's 1 consideration...but i usually don't need multi ports, then again, just in case i need more then 1 er then how?... i don't play games, watch movies etc...just for surfing, email and work stuffs

Mouse takes up one port, unless you have wireless. USB thumbdrive for transfer of work stuff. Card reader for pictures? Too beautiful for real usage, I feel.

haha! too beautiful for real usage! u r rite! it's more like a hiao factor huh!

purple, i've been using fujitsu all these while...but find the lifespan now becoming shorter and shorter

Y dun you consider getting a Macbook Pro. hehe... am eyeing on one...

For Macbook Air... the main disadvantages is the lack of USB port and the harddisk size (80GB only). Got a friend who own one... in the end, he is carrying losa accessories on top of the lappy itself.. Advantages is chio bah...

If you are a student or teacher or in the educational industry, think they have this education discount tingy. Can check it out.

like that you can choose Sony VAIO... pretty and usage wise, think not much complaint....

actually i think ASUS has nice slim and portable (light weight) laptop too.. you may check it out.
