1. Think and feel sexy
Quickie sex is about seizing the moment. The trick to getting your desire soaring on demand? Start doing things that make you feel sexy: Don silky lingerie, think naughty thoughts, read erotic books, rent lusty films -- the more you think about sex, the more heightened your sexual desire is. Also, "the way you think about yourself is a critical factor for how you will feel about yourself," says psychologist and sex therapist Joel Block, Ph.D., author of Art Of The Quickie. Thinking and giving yourself sexy compliments everyday ("I have sexy curves" or "I love my cute butt!") makes you feel more desirable.2. Improvise to speed things along
One reason why women tend to feel less enthusiastic about quickies than men do is because they have a different natural sexual response cycle -- women typically need more time physically to get to the same level of pleasure. To speed things up, take a shortcut to arousal: Try using a lubricant or a vibrator. Or you can also get yourself warmed up by starting foreplay earlier while you are watching TV and then you can finish off in the bedroom, says Marcelle Perks, co-author of Incredible Sex.
"In your regular lovemaking sessions make a mental list of things that turn each other on and discover positions that make you come quicker, " adds Perks. This way, you can practice condensing the most intense aspects of sex into a brief but passionate liaison.
