  • salt to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 1˝ tablespoons olive oil


  1. Season the scallops with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil in a sauté pan over high heat. When oil is hot, add scallops and sear for about 2 minutes on each side.
