Pan-Seared Pork Chops with Herbs

  • 4 center-cut pork loin chops
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • ½ tablespoon freshly chopped rosemary
  • ½ tablespoon freshly chopped thyme


  1. Season pork chops with salt, pepper, rosemary, and thyme, then drizzle with olive oil.
  2. Heat a large sauté pan over medium-high heat. Add chops and lower the heat to medium. Cook until well-browned on one side, about 5 to 6 minutes. Turn chops over and cook 2 to 3 minutes more.
