Don't rush to your baby everytime she stirs
Babies often squirm, twitch and murmur in their sleep. So when you rush into her room the minute you hear the slightest whimper, you may be distracting her from falling asleep or even waking her up. If she's fussing or crying, resist the urge to check on her immediately. Sometimes it's simply a sign of settling down. It's okay to wait a few minutes so she has a chance to learn to calm herself.
