Herbed Jasmine Rice

Ingredients: (Conversion Chart)

  • 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup chopped, mixed fresh herbs (thyme, chives, sage, parsley)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Directions:

  1. Bring a medium saucepan of salted water to a boil. Cook rice, stirring occasionally, for about 10 to 15 minutes. Drain.
  2. Toss rice with olive oil and herbs and season with salt and pepper.
