What
Botox is a non-invasive procedure that is administered through injections to paralyze specific muscles and help reduce facial lines and wrinkles.
After care
While Botox has minimal downtime, there may be minor bruising from the injection which will fade after a few hours. Applying a cold compress to the treated area for a few minutes after the procedure can help speed up the process.
Your doctor will advise you to avoid lying down for four to five hours after the treatment and to avoid massaging the treated area. You are also advised against any form of strenuous activity within the first 24 hours.
