- Calluses on the back of the hands and knuckles from self-induced vomiting.

- Creation of complex lifestyle schedules or rituals to accomodate binge-and-purge sessions.
- Withdrawal from friends and social activities.
- In general, undue obsession with weight loss, dieting, and food.
